Tornados Ravaged Oklahoma. Benevolence, Recovery & Rebuilding.

WHAT you may NOT KNOW is that Multiple tornados touched down in Oklahoma on May 19, 2013 in Carney, Shawnee (Brad Pitt~ Born), Dale, Bethel Acres, Norman, Luther, Lake Thunderbird. On Monday it hit Newcastle. We live 1.5 miles from the end of the devastating tornado that hit Moore, Oklahoma and demolished 12,000 homes and businesses and 5 schools with 377 injuries and 24 reported deaths.  It's residence and people close to the site are still coming to grips with the full scale of this massive EF-5 Tornados Lawnmower effect.  Homes were destroyed beyond recognition.  Others had nothing to come back to not even a concrete pad.  Real lives were lost.  You cannot imagine the feelings of loss and desperation here.  Several links are posted below for pictures/ info on each tornado.

As the dust cleared in Oklahoma, staggering stories of heroism have came to light:Teachers saved students by covering them with their bodies, and stayed with students until they could be located by their parents. Rescuers even had to pull a car off one teacher who was protecting her students. In re-telling the story to KFOR, a rescuer broke down in tears. "Good job, teach," he said.
Still more first responders came to the immediate aid of students trapped inside ruined buildings. Oklahoma State police Sgt. Jeremy Lewis said he witnessed amazing acts of bravery at Plaza Towers Elementary. "They literally were lifting walls up and kids were coming out," he told the Chicago Tribune. "They pulled kids out from under cinder blocks without a scratch on them." http://www.hlntv.com/article/2013/05/22/oklahomo-tornado-help-kindness-charity-good-deeds
